Your main duties:
- Take the lead on the development of a custom-made internal operations tool for a logistics company
- Coordinate requirements, development and activities; contribute to team meetings
- Troubleshoot development and production problems and bugs
- Define web architectures and solutions from business requirements and develop them
Required Experience
- Excellent English communication skills
- 2+ years of software development experience
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript, Node.js, Express.js
- Experience with database interactions utilizing asynchronous programming
- Working knowledge of front-end technologies, such as HTML5 and CSS3 and frameworks such as Angular, React or equivalent (Angular preferred)
- Experience of relational databases and SQL query builders, such as knex.js
- Experience with back-end RESTful APIs / microservices architectures
- Knowledge of the most common authentication and authorization methods for RESTful APIs and web applications
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Willingness to take ownership and find ways to unblock oneself
- Knowledge of *NIX systems
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- University degree or equivalent educational experience (optimally a technical or engineering degree)
- Portfolio of developed projects
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services
