Information about the position

As a Business Analyst, you will be in charge of translating business requirements into IT solutions by merging technologies, applications, tools and support processes. This includes manage communication and collaborate with Product Owners and Stakeholders to drive actions with several support teams world-wide including Subject Matter Experts, Iteration Managers and Architects.

This role documents and analyzes new requirements from a Business perspective and define the new operational scenarios. You will have the opportunity to innovate IBM support processes and be part of it, integrate systems, provide reporting, metrics, analyze data and apply your IT technical experience and business process skills to deliver solutions and value to the company’s clients. All of it into an Agile working environment. The Business Analyst role will be involved on projects for applications legacy and integration with the Cognitive Support Platform.

Main Responsibilities for this role are:

  • Support New deployments for Cognitive Support Platform that include roll outs for different geographic locations, working to make sure that with these new boardings all new requirements be included and don’t break any current functionality.
  • Assess new and existing contracts follow the process in place to evaluate contract details
  • (timeline, Cost, etc.) and determine the best platform that should be used based on the current options for onboarding.
  • Migration of legacy applications, evaluating tasks , despondences and resources to migrate key workstreams off legacy applications to Cognitive Support Platform.
  • Work with other teams and customers on the map their data to IBM ‘s specifications, test and board their systems to IBM`s B2Bsupport offering.
  • Understand customer expectation from a functionality and quality point of view.
  • Create, review technical documentation and propel innovation and contribute to exciting new projects.

Requirements for the employee

  • Self-motivated and self-managed with a demonstrated analytical ability and curiosity
  • Takes creative approaches to problem solving, innovation, and issue resolution
  • Works independently and within a team setting
  • Fluent in English
  • Demonstrated strong written and communications skills
  • Technical background, ability to understand delegated objectives, being diligent with time management, documentation and writing reports, be able to run meetings with stakeholders.
  • Exposure to dependency management, change management and problem management.
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality results
  • 2+ years’ as Business Analyst

Preferred Requirements:

  • Highly Preferred: Technical skill and or working knowledge of using application integration tools like Cast Iron/ App Connect Professional, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, or webMethods
  • Understanding and working knowledge of SOAP, JSON, and REST-based webservices/APIs and HTTP protocols
  • Working experience with Node.js and Angular
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Experience using Jira
