Information about the position

We are looking for a software engineer to join our Team. As SW Engineer you will be involved in cloud technology security research. You will help us with the design of solutions and the implementation of proof-of-concept. You will also cooperate on the construction and development of a private cloud. In the technology aspect, we are very flexible team. We always try to use the most suitable tools, platforms and programming languages. Of course, one of our priorities is safety.

The cloud is very dynamic area where everything is changing, that is why we are focused also on trainings, learning and development of our knowledge and skills.

Requirements for the employee

Skills we are looking for:

Required:
- Advanced experience in one of these languages C++ / C# / Go
- Experience with server side application development
- Interest in networking or cloud
- Basic experience with Docker
- English level – B2

Nice to have:
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with public cloud, preferably Azure
- Experience with NoSQL databases

Brief description of the company

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses.

They did not know that they had created one of the most successful antivirus programs in the world – dubbing it NOD. In 1992, together with their mutual friend Rudolf Hrubý, they formally established
ESET. What started as the brainchild of a few friends has evolved into the most valuable international brand of any Slovak company. Today ESET’s NOD32 technology protects over 100 million users across the world.

This success did not come overnight. The company’s global success and growth was given a boost in 1998 with its first “VB100” award from the prestigious Virus Bulletin magazine. Since then, we’ve
